Ashness Bridge in autumn 2

Another striking image of Ashness Bridge, Borrowdale, captured in glorious autumn light. Things are looking a little bleak up on Skiddaw in the background but that only serves to highlight the splendid colours on display. Ashness Bridge is found on the road up to the tiny hamlet of Watendlath.

This is hallowed ground for the many climbers that come to enjoy the superb rough rock on offer here, with routes of all grades to suit all standards. Follow the Walna Scar track up from Coniston and you can't miss it...!

Early Morning on Lingmoor Fell

This photograph captures the essence of the Langdale Pikes from Little Langdale. I took this from half way up Lingmoor Fell from the Blea Tarn side early one spring morning.

Summers' eve at Wastwater
