Ashness Bridge in Autumn 1

Ashness Bridge captured in glorious autumn light. Available as a loose print, canvas print, or a choice of framed options. See sales area for all purchase options.

Ashness Bridge in autumn 2

Another striking image of Ashness Bridge, Borrowdale, captured in glorious autumn light. Things are looking a little bleak up on Skiddaw in the background but that only serves to highlight the splendid colours on display. Ashness Bridge is found on the road up to the tiny hamlet of Watendlath.

Ashness Bridge in Winter

And once again, I'm happy to present you with this lovely vision of Ashness Bridge in winter, with a snow capped Skiddaw as a splendid backdrop.

Blea Tarn, Little Langdale

Blea Tarn, Little Langdale is a favourite spot for photographers through all seasons. However, the autumn never fails to impress with the glorious combinations of colour on show.

Blea Tarn

Blea Tarn, Little Langdale, looking glorious with its autumn hues on show.

Place Fell and Angletarn Pikes

A lovely photograph of Place Fell and Angletarn Pikes soaking up some autumn rays. Captured with a Canon EOS5D Mk11 with a 24-105 L IS USM lens. This is seen from the descent off Hartsop above How looking straight down and along Deepdale, one of the eastern fells more isolated valleys in its upper reaches.

Angletarn Pikes

Angletarn Pikes, which sit above Ullswater, in the English Lake District. Photograph taken with a Canon EOS5d Mk11 & EF24-105 L IS USM Lens.

Blencathra from Walla Crag

An awesome picture of a moody Blencathra as seen from the top of Walla Crag, above Borrowdale. Autumn really is a fantastic time to be out and about here in the Lake District

Frosty Grasmere at first light

A beautiful and serene photograph of Grasmere taken at first light on a crisp January morning.

Scafell at Dawn

Scafell at sunrise as the moon sets behind Scafell Pike. Days like this don't come along so often and I was really pleased to be able to capture this stunning image from the summit of Bowfell.

Rowan Tree, Eskdale

A lonely Rowan stands proud high in the Eskdale Valley. This image was captured in late September on a gloriously moody day on the fells below Scafell.

Tarn Hows in late autumn

A lovely image of Tarn hows in the late autumn. With colour on the trees and snow on the fells the picture is complete. A truly magical place.....

Yewbarrow, Wastwater

Yewbarrow may not be the biggest or highest but it makes a mighty impression towering above Wastwater. In this strong light it looks far bigger than it actually is, as illustrated here in this photograph taken from across Wastwater on Illgill Head

Grasmoor over Crummock Water

A beautiful day at Crummock Water gave rise to this stunning photograph of Grasmoor reflected in the lake. It doesn't get a lot better than this in the Lake District at a quiet time of year.

Dusk at Derwentwater

A beautiful photograph of snowy Blencathra reflected in Derwentwater as the light begins to fade.

The Mighty Dow Crag

Dow Crag, above Coniston, looks imposing as it towers high above Goats Water. This is hallowed ground for the many climbers that come to enjoy the superb rough rock on offer here, with routes of all grades to suit all standards. Follow the Walna Scar track up from Coniston and you can't miss it...!

Early Morning on Lingmoor Fell

This photograph captures the essence of the Langdale Pikes from Little Langdale. I took this from half way up Lingmoor Fell from the Blea Tarn side early one spring morning.

Summers' eve at Wastwater

A truly beautiful and tranquil image of Wastwater on a summers' eve. This is our deepest lake, and wasdale is home to our highest mountain, Scafell Pike, the flanks of which can be seen rising up to the right of the picture.
